Additional Notes

Prayer verse: Isaiah 55:6-9

Spiritual principles:

  • Everything we think has been corrupted by man's rebellion against God, right down to the very mathematics we use - how can we ever begin to rule in righteousness?
  • God gave man dominion over the earth, and the first thing man did was to hand it over to Satan, and man has since lived in darkness rather than the light.
  • It is only through God's Word, faith in Jesus Christ, and through His Spirit that we come into the light, not only saving us from eternal punishment, but giving us the ability to think like God.
  • We should be longing for a different kind of society - a new heavens and new earth - where we can deal in truth rather than in darkness and the deceptions of man.
